Facebook

Facebook is a rather fascinating addiction of mine. It gets really old, really fast, but it's usually entertaining. Espicially when you're on talking to people in chat.

Today was another semi-good, mostly-bad day. It's just not a very good week for me. But, if I put on a good show it can help me make it through the day. I'm pretty good at shows, covering up my mood.

Tommorow I organized an FGHA meeting. I got an announcement out, and I hope people show up. I'm the sorta-just-appointed leader of the club. I want to do Highway Clean-Up this Saturday or Sunday. This is where the true test of who cares and who doesn't comes in. Who wants to be a member and who just wants their parents to think they are doing something.

FGHA stands for Future Granola Heads of America. People who like to be outside and do things. We've gone biking, ice skating and soon I'd like to plan a trip to a local trail. The club is still young and so am I. Which means I have homework... :(

Friends

Aren't we all so lucky to have them? I like to think so. I can't stand the idea of being without them. I guess you could say I only have two friends. Tyler and Knoel. Knoel is the most amazing girl in the universe, she's my best friend. Tyler and I have been close for years, but it's not the same as Knoel and I. He is definitely a best friend.

Then I have my sometimes friend, Tyler B., (there's two, so I'll specify). There's a lot of drama behind that guy..

But I also have a ton of acquaintances, or school friends. I'm pretty guarded and don't let many people in.

Then there's in between people, that aren't acquaintances or a best friends. Social trees are confusing.

Then there are my 'enemies' for lack of better term.

I don't really know what to say about my friends, but they are who they are.

This is a rather pointless blog, but post a comment if you actually read it. I'd like to see who reads these, if anyone.

Life

"Life is music, and you may not like the song, but you should still dance anyway." I'm not sure who said that, but that quote is really amazing.

If you go through a rough time in life, don't give up.

On a lighter note, the sun is finally shining. After the long, rainy weekend, the sun woke up. It just woke up five minutes ago.

My best friend got back from Chicago last night. Today we swapped weekend stories. It was great to see her, even if she was only gone three days.

With all love,

Words

I only titled my blog that way because that's the song I'm listening to. Words by Between the Trees, actually it's quite the thought to ponder. The lyrics sing, "Sticks and stones may break my bones, your words, they surely kill." It's so true.

I don't know if anybody actually reads my blog, but I'm going to go ahead and assume you all know what hate feels like. When somebody takes a verbal jab at you, the generally know what nerve they are hitting. They are almost literally trying to kill you. The most effective way to hurt somebody is to get to know them, and break them down. And it hurts. How can it not?

It's still raining. It really sucks, but it's kind of pretty too. When I write these blogs, I almost always spend at least an hour pondering life after them. How odd.

As always,

Rain

Today it rained. All day. Actually, it still is raining. I actually think it was kind of nice. I got some things done and chilled at home. Sometimes, those days are just nice. I went shopping, bought some useless things, cleaned the house and took some pictures during the rain. Hope you enjoy.

One of Those Days

One of those days...

I mean that in every good way possible. It was 80 degrees, hot and calm. Everybody was in a great mood, myself included, which makes for a good day. I loved wearing my shorts confidently. I felt so chill, so relaxed. I got so much done, too.

Well, maybe that's an exaggeration. I mowed the lawn, suntanned, read a magazine and pet my dog. Tomorrow I'm going to Adventureland with a club at school. I expect that will be fun.

So, seeing as I'm a music freak, I'll let you in on another one of my favorite artists. (Nobody will ever top This Providence.) Between The Trees. They are amazing. I'm really into their songs, Fairweather and Words. I love all their songs on their album. (They only have one now,) but those two are my favorite.

As the night progresses, I feel stargazing is in order.

Cats

'Cats' was actually an awful way to title my blog. I just saw mine and figured it would work as well as any. I was outside today, it's supposedly 78 degrees. But it's very windy which makes it rather uncomfortable.

Have you ever wondered what life would be like if somebody took a person, no matter how small a role, out of your life? Actually, especially them. You don't want to think about somebody important out of you life, but what if that kid who sits in front of you in Algebra suddenly disappeared? He makes jokes, and keeps a smile on your face during that class, but he's nothing more than that to you. Would your life be different if you never met him? You all have to know somebody that just makes life a little less depressing for you, but you're not close friends at all. He/she just makes you smile. I'm going to ponder that for a while.

Today was very much ordinary. Spent the day laughing at jokes, or at myself. Tripped a couple times, finished some class work. Not much exciting.

I take a class called 'Teen Living', it's useless. That's not fair to say, I guess, but it's a real easy class since Freshmen don't have many options. Anyway, we're making mash potatoes tomorrow, and I'm thinking that will be interesting....

Wednesday!

Well, I figured I titled my last blog Monday, why not have a Wednesday?

Today was really good. Very emotionally calm. It means a lot to people who are as easily stressed as myself to have a fairly stress-free day. The laptop is up and running, my dad defragged it and basically created new log-ins so I'm rebuilding my iTunes library now. I had to transfer it from admin. to Jadyn. Vista kind of sucks.

It really helps my mood when the sun's out, so I was very pleased to see it out today. It'll be here for at least two more promised days!

Very little time again,

Monday

It was a Monday, Monday's are no good. Ever. It's kind of like some kind of unwritten rule that Mondays have to suck. To the right, is a perfect example of how I feel on Mondays, but I believe that that picture was actually taken on a Wednesday.....
Anyways, I'd rather not vent to you guys because even though I doubt anybody reads this, it's just not cool to lash out at the world on the internet.
Well, seeing as I have homework to do, it was a pleasure writing.

Hmm

It feels like I never have anything to say. I'm well aware nobody actually reads this, but I still feel like I must write, and write and write. I'm actually looking into screen writing, creative writing or journalism as ideas of what to major in. (Or photography, architecture, advertising, marketing, or management) It's safe to say I'm still quite indecisive as to my career choice.

In the past four days or so since I last wrote, I got over being sick, watched Superbad, went to a movie with my friend, talked about some really tough topics for both of us, ran into the people that always seem to hurt me the most, read 300 pages or so of my book, Fatal Tide by Iris Johansen, and enjoyed the sun.

As you can see, my life is rather dull. But I do recommend 17 Again if you're interested in seeing a movie, it was very funny. Zac Efron is pretty hot in that movie, and it's a huge step up from High School Musical, I don't mean to offend, but I hated those movies. I'm not into movie spoiling, so I won't write what happens, but certainly see it. (I love this whole talking to nobody thing...)

I don't have much to write right now,

Another Day

Today was quite interesting, I was constantly laughing at something and I was just in a good mood. It's strange how you have those days where your just happy. A kid in my Mechanical Drawing class makes me laugh every day. Today wasn't too out of the ordinary, he unplugged my computer again, accidentally, of course. It made us both burst out laughing. Mr. L doesn't like me very much, I laugh a bunch in his class.

In Algebra, Jacob dissed my shirt. That was a fun conversation, he doesn't like the band This Providence. That's not sarcasm either, I had fun arguing as to why my favorite band is simply amazing. I won, mainly because he got bored and gave up. He didn't have any good backing to his "I hate that band" statements, while I had plenty (good statement backings.)

I got college mail today, that was really cool. It didn't say a lot, but it was fun. I also applied for another scholarship today.

I'm sure there's more to write, I enjoy this, but quite frankly, I'm tanning (outside) and my laptop is almost dead.

For Starters

I just started my blog, set up the account and all that. I'm not sure what the purpose of my blog is yet, but I was inspired to start a blog by a discussion in class today and after seeing www.danyoungblog.com. This Providence, his band (Dan Young's the blogger), happens to be a band I truly respect. I briefly met each one of them at a concert I recently attended. I'll try not to talk about that too much.

I guess since this blog is about non other than me, so I'll tell you a bit about myself. I haven't received consent for this blog yet, so I'm not sure how much I'm willing to share until I run this idea by my mom. Yup, that's me, a teenage, high-school goody-two-shoes. I actually let her come to the This Providence concert with me. (Which was actually a great idea, she bought me things!)

I know how annoying people are about their pets, but mine are a huge part of my life. Especially my dog, Lucas. We rescued him from a shelter, and it's evident he was beaten. I could rant a little too, about animal abuse, but I'm not in the mood for such a heavy topic.

I've a slight obsession with music. My favorite band is This Providence (check them out on iTunes, or see the latest video 'Letdown' at their website www.thisprovidence.com) But, I'm really into The All-American Rejects, Between the Trees, VersaEmerge, The Hush Sound(they used to be my favorite band, but then my friend introduced me to This Providence, and The Hush Sound quickly lost that battle for #1), Katy Perry, Thriving Ivory, Taylor Swift, Paramore, and Nevershoutnever!. I'm sure there's more, but I can't think of any more off the top of my head.

As it's been implied, I'm a high school student. I'm still quite unsure what my college plans are or career choices. I've applied for a few scholarships, and we'll see where that takes us. (if you're looking at colleges and/or financial aid, check out www.zinch.com, it's truly amazing)

What to expect from this blog in the future is still fairly undetermined to me. I don't know if I'll continue this blog or if I'll quit, do to parental orders. My life is complex, as are many. Expect complexity, that's the best I can give you for now.

Your first-time blogger,
Jadyn
